Exotic Prints Cattery Pet Shop Our story

Hello future cat parents.

Hello, my name is Katherine, and I am the breeder and founder of Exotic Prints Kittens. I’d love to share a little bit about myself and the story behind this website.

From a young age, I was captivated by the idea of breeding animals. When I was just 9 years old, I started breeding hamsters, raising them, and finding new homes for each of my baby hamsters. It became my little “business,” and many people from my school and neighborhood ended up adopting my beautiful hamsters. The joy of knowing I was providing families with loving companions was something I cherished.

As I grew older, my dream evolved — I longed to adopt a Bengal kitten and, eventually, to breed them. In 2012, my dream came true when I adopted a rare black-silver marbled tabby Bengal male, whom I named Ray. Ray was an extraordinary cat — so much so that breeders with female Bengals wanted to mate them with him. I took great care in supervising his litters and found loving homes for all of his offspring. It was a rewarding experience, and it only deepened my passion for breeding.

In 2013, I decided to take my breeding journey to the next level. I enrolled in professional breeding school and became committed to furthering my knowledge. That year, I adopted another Bengal female, applied for registration with the World Cat Federation (WCF), and began attending cat shows. At my first show, I had the opportunity to work as a steward, assisting WCF experts with the cats in the exhibition. I loved the role and quickly learned valuable insights into breeding practices, breed standards, and the WCF system. This experience inspired me to pursue becoming a WCF expert.

Though I encountered a setback when the age requirement for WCF apprenticeships changed, I remained determined. I had gained so much knowledge from my time as a steward and my work with WCF experts that I decided to focus on breeding.

In 2014, I received my WCF cattery certificate. Originally, I wanted to name my cattery “Kotsun” in honor of my beloved cat, but the WCF does not approve names that contain the word “cat” in any language. Instead, the name Exotic Print was chosen, which represents “silver love,” aligning perfectly with my breeding program focused solely on silver tabby Bengals.

Since then, I have continued to attend cat shows and breeding seminars, continually learning about genetics and refining my skills as a breeder. This journey has been an incredible one, and I’m thrilled to share it with you through Exotic Prints Kittens.

Thank you for visiting, and I invite you to explore our beautiful Bengals and join the Exotic Prints family!

Our kittens were initially adopted within Ukraine, Russia, and Moldova. However, over time, I expanded my reach to find loving homes for my kittens across Europe, and eventually, around the world. In 2015, a family from the United States contacted me in search of a kitten, and it was then that I realized the United States is the perfect place for my kittens. I’ve found that American families are among the most responsible, caring, and appreciative pet owners, and their feedback fills my heart with joy.

What brings me the most happiness is receiving updates about how my kittens are doing in their new homes. Pictures, videos, and heartfelt messages from happy, loving families and their now-spoiled kitties are the best part of this journey. Many of my U.S. clients have become dear friends, and many return to adopt another kitten because of how well-socialized and beautiful our kittens are. Furthermore, these satisfied families often recommend our kittens to their friends, leading to more loving homes for our babies.

A Special Request
One of my absolute favorite moments is receiving videos of families meeting their new kitten for the first time. If you’re adopting a kitten from us, please, I would be thrilled if you could capture that special moment on video and share it with me. It’s truly a memory I’ll cherish!
